Craft modifications started in earnest

Craft modifications started in earnest, it is now in many little pieces!

This is the first time I’ve built a craft for two people. The roof will be continuous for structure and protection, There’ll be a door one side and windows on both sides. Both pilots will be lying down and the fuselage.. basically a pencil.

For the attempt I‘ll ride in the front seat. The front cockpit will be cramped – with no electronics, or anything in fact, other than a steering wheel and throttle. All the electronics, timing gear, gps’s etc will be in the back cockpit, which Dale will monitor.

  1. If this is the first time you will have two people in the craft, how does that change what you need to do to get to top speed?

  2. How hard is it to drive or should I say pilot the craft? It doesnt look like it would handle too well…
