No. Nevada also has some frozen lakes (So.Fork and Washoe Lake), but the Dec snow covered the ice that formed in the west and remains as we now see 40F days.  I am hopeful you can find better ice conditions later on in Montana or to the east.Keep watching the iceboat racing results for that in the Midwest and NE states.
